I am reaching out to personally invite you to a cocktail reception with First Lady Michelle Obama on Monday, March 19th. This reception will provide the opportunity to hear from Mrs. Obama in an intimate setting of 100 women about her experiences as First Lady and the initiatives she holds dear. She has already recruited a number of leading ladies to join her on the 19th for what will be a special evening: Angela Bassett, Whoopi Goldberg, Star Jones, Phylicia Rashad, Tina Knowles, Tonya Lewis Lee, Lynn Whitfield, Alfre Woodard and Lisa Ellis.

The reception will take place at Locanda Verde in the Greenwich Hotel (377 Greenwich Street) at 6:00 PM and is being hosted by Robert De Niro and his wife Grace Hightower De Niro. Bowling w/First Lady Michelle Obama at Chelsea Piers

Also on Monday, March 19th, the First Lady will be hosting an afternoon of family and friends bowling at Chelsea Piers, which is located at 23rd Street and the Hudson River, starting at 3:30 pm. She will be joined by Victor Cruz, Curtis Martin and Wale Ogunleye. Non-bowling guests are asked to contribute $150; bowling guests are asked for $250; and a $5,000 contribution, includes bowling for five as well as a photo with the First Lady for up to five people.
