TEDxHarlem - Creating Waves
The first ever TEDxHarlem conference will be presented at Harlem’s Riverside Church in NYC.
This year’s TEDxHarlem event is titled “Creating Waves” and the thought is that an idea can happen in one place but the impact can be felt somewhere else. In this construct, Harlem has given the world some of the most prolific, innovative and “exciting people and art forms that we are still experiencing today across the globe. It is this movement that TEDxHarlem seeks to celebrate and build upon in making this inaugural event an amazing and unique experience.
Presenters include: Grant McCracken, Seth Andrew, Thelma Golden, Jake Barton, Mayor John Fetterman, Coltrane Curtis, Dr. Marta Moreno Vega, Scott Belsky, Robin Chase, Kevin Carroll, Majora Carter, Matthew Spitzer, Tim Duggan, Marcus Samuelsson and Bina48.
